'Who' producer teases Neil Gaiman ep

He told SFX that the fantasy author's contribution to the show is "a real love letter to the fans".
"It's a big episode, but I think it'll be one the fans will love," he said. "It was [originally] due to be shot last year, but for budget reasons we moved it to this series."
Wilson also confirmed that the instalment, which will air fourth in the next run, will feature "a new take on a familiar character".
"It's an episode that involves quite a big sprawl [and] huge alien world locations," he continued. "[It] required a lot of work."
Gaiman himself previously hinted that guest star Suranne Jones will appear in the episode as "an old acquaintance with a new face".
Doctor Who will return to BBC One later in the spring.
