The BBC has released a new selection of images from the upcoming sixth series of Doctor Who.
The set includes a number of new promotional pictures of The Doctor (Matt Smith), newly-married companions Amy (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvill), plus returning guest character River Song (Alex Kingston).
A series of behind-the-scenes shots from the show's recent filming block in Valley of the Gods, Utah, have also been released.

The new series of Doctor Who premieres on Saturday, April 23 on BBC One in the UK and BBC America in the US.
