'Asylum of the Daleks' will be followed by 'Dinosaurs on a Spaceship', 'A Town Called Mercy', 'The Power of Three' and 'The Angels Take Manhattan'.
The series premiere was first shown at London's BFI Southbank at a screening on August 14.
Stars Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill were in attendance for a Q&A, along with showrunner Steven Moffat and executive producer Caroline Skinner.
The new episode, which sees the first full appearance of the legendary Daleks since series five finale 'The Big Bang', will also be screened at the MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television Festival on August 23-25 before its first airing on BBC One.
Next year sees the 50th anniversary of the long-running sci-fi, with rumours that an episode featuring multiple doctors from the show's history is being planned to celebrate the milestone.
Smith has expressed his desire for Christopher Eccleston to return to the show, while David Tennant has said he'll "always be able to return".
Moffat himself has refused to be drawn on whether there is any truth to the rumours.
