So, it finally happened - following a throughly creepy and dramatic encounter with the Weeping Angels in a noirish New York city, Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill) parted ways with the Doctor (Matt Smith) under emotional circumstances...
