Pictures from the shoot show Smith and Coleman - who plays the Doctor's new companion - climb aboard a motorbike and race alongside a red London bus.Doctor Who will return to BBC One this Christmas, with Coleman making her debut as a regular in the show's 2012 festive special.
The 26-year-old actress made a surprise appearance earlier this year in series seven premiere 'Asylum of the Daleks' - written by Who showrunner Steven Moffat.
