Doctor Who's Christmas special has had its title revealed by the BBC as part of tonight's (November 16) Children in Need show.
During this evening's festivities on BBC One, it was confirmed that the Christmas episode will be called 'The Snowmen' and Jenna-Louise Coleman's character will be called Clara.
A prequel episode titled 'The Great Detective' has also been unveiled. Set in Victorian England, the short sees The Doctor tell a detective trio looking into alien activity that he is retired.
