The first 2012 BBC Christmas TV trailer has been released and features footage of Doctor Who, EastEnders and the return of Call the Midwife.

Snippets of the new Royle Family Christmas special, David Walliams and Hugh Bonneville's Mr Stink, and the latest Mrs Brown's Boys also feature in the video.
The BBC announced its Christmas TV highlights yesterday. Regular family favourites Top of the Pops and Strictly Come Dancing will be joined by an Olympics-themed version of retro sports entertainment series Superstars.
Meanwhile, BBC Two's festive lineup includes Alfred Hitchcock TV movie The Girl, a James May's Toy Stories special and a new Dragons' Den.
BBC Three has confirmed special episodes of Him & Her, Don't Tell the Bride and Snog, Marry, Avoid.
