Tennant's Doc voted coolest TV character
Published Thursday, Mar 29 2007, 17:17 BST | By Matthew Houghton

Tennant beat the previous Doctor, Christopher Eccleston, who failed to make it into the top ten of the poll conducted by the Radio Times.
A spokeman for the magazine said: "David looks like becoming a bit of an icon. There are surprises on the list, like the top ten is all male.
"It's amazing an old-timer like Columbo is higher than current stars like Russell Brand, who narrowly missed out at 11."
The top ten cool list is as follows:
1. Doctor Who (David Tennant)
2. Jack Bauer in 24 (Kiefer Sutherland)
3. The Fonz in Happy Days (Henry Winkler)
4. Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth)
5. Cat in Red Dwarf (Danny John-Jules)
6. DCI Gene Hunt in Life On Mars (Philip Glenister)
7. Dermot O'Leary
8. Columbo (Peter Falk)
9. Dylan in The Magic Roundabout
10. Sawyer in Lost (Josh Holloway)
