Report: Woody Allen in line for 'Dr Who' role?
A British tabloid has claimed that renowned film star Woody Allen has been approached to star as legendary physicist Albert Einstein in this year's Doctor Who Christmas Special.

Under the headline 'Woody Alien', The Sun reveals that the 71-year-old Annie Hall actor/director may follow Kylie Minogue by agreeing to star in the time-travelling drama's seasonal offering.

The tabloid cites an insider on the hit BBC1 show as saying: “Kylie confirmed last week, now Woody Allen’s in the frame... They chose Einstein because they want historical figures in the special. Einstein’s also linked with Doctor Who themes, like time travel.”
