The Ood return to 'Doctor Who' in 2008
Published Thursday, Jul 26 2007, 13:27 BST | By Tony Delgado
The squid-faced creatures known as The Ood are to return for the fourth season of Doctor Who in an episode set on their home world.
According to The London Paper, 'The Planet of The Ood' will explore the origins of the race, last seen in the season two episodes 'The Impossible Planet' and 'The Satan Pit'. In the story they were introduced as a servile race - despite their chilling appearance - who cater to every whim of humanity, whilst bearing telepathic capabilities. However, they came under the influence of evil and started attacking their masters.
Season four of Doctor Who will air in spring 2008 with Catherine Tate joining David Tennant in the Tardis.
