Captain Jack makes 'Doctor Who' comeback

The Torchwood star confirmed the news to This Is Nottingham: "I'm not in the Doctor Who Christmas special, but I come back in series four, which starts filming after Christmas."
Barrowman is currently shooting the second series of Torchwood, to be broadcast on BBC Two in January. The character of Captain Jack was last seen bidding farewell to The Doctor and Martha Jones in the the finale to the third season - 'The Last of the Time Lords' - after unwittingly suggesting that he was the mysterious Face of Boe.
