Tardis shed lands in Liverpool

A shed based on Doctor Who’s Tardis is attracting plenty of interest in Liverpool.
Based on the time-travelling vessel’s distinctive blue exterior, the plywood construction was recently installed in a street on the city’s Dockside area.
Greg Mercer, manager of MDL Timber - the merchants who produced the shed - told the Liverpool Daily Post: "What we wanted to do was create something special for kids that takes them away from their computer consoles and lets them use a creative space imaginatively."
Currently only two of the products have been purchased, at £375 apiece, but Mercer added that interest is rife throughout the local community: "We’ve heard people on the radio phone in and ask when The Doctor landed on Great Howard Street."
