Peter Davison keen on 'Doctor Who' return
Published Saturday, Mar 15 2008, 13:20 GMT | By Ben Rawson-Jones

Davison, who starred alongside David Tennant in the Children In Need mini-episode 'Time Crash' last year, spoke to Digital Spy about the possibility of making more appearances as the Fifth Doctor in the television series. "I would certainly be able to do it," he stated, but quickly added: "I'm not suggesting for a moment that it would ever happen - I think it won't happen."
He also revealed that he is an avid viewer of the rejuvenated show, in which he played the lead role between 1981 and 1984, because of his children. "I have two young boys, six and eight, who love Doctor Who, so I sit there and I watch all the new series [episodes] about three or four times."
