John Barrowman talks 'Who' return

As suspected I'm strictly forbidden from saying pretty much anything about Torchwood: Children Of Earth until.. ooh, I'm guessing, maybe the first week of June or so.
What I will say though is that you will absolutely be not disappointed - there's terror, there's conspiracy, there's humour, there's a bit of snogging and there's heaps of action. Enough now though. More soon - watch this space.
To make up for the lack of fresh intel I present to you a brief snippet from my interview with John Barrowman. Here, I grill him on the possibility of a return to Doctor Who for David Tennant's last two episodes. The key part is his comment about not having seen a script and my response to that!

John wasn't lying: he was not photographed on SET, he was on LOCATION. He's a clever man, a lot smarter in dodging journalists' questions than you realise ;o) And he must be sick of being asked about Dr Who when he was there to promote Torchwood!

We haven't seen him on set, we saw him going into the Tiger Tiger club where filming was taking place with David Tennant - not a Tesco in site - and many multi-coloured aliens coming out - so technically he's right - we haven't seen him filming just going in and out and running to his car.

Oh c'mon John- just be honest. We've heard all the assistants inc Rose are coming back for Tennant's finale, so it's highly likely Capt Jack will be back too, particularly having less presence on Torchwood (only the 5 eps).

I would love to see John back in Dr Who. He may just be being careful what he says though as he may have been asked not to give too much away.

Actors and crew have to sign a contract/clause to keep all aspects of the show a secret. If JB is filming under contract, he'd be obligated (and professional) to abide by the contract. "Whaddaya think I'm gonna tell you here?" Having said that, it seems likely that he'd be in the last episodes of DT time as Dr. Who. His comments about Dr. Who sound more of a true fan and shows his ablity to accept change. Additionally, his body language appears to show either frustration with the interviewer, or weariness in the line of questions (he must've answered several times same questions--different interviewer), or uncomfortable if he fibbed. Give the poor man a break, he's only human.
