I don't know for you people but i really like Karen. She looks like the perfect companion for the Doctor. She is gorgeous and I see a lot of potential in her. I look forward to the new series with new excitement!

I loved David Tennent, he was fantastic and i never cried so much when he left, but just like when Christopher left everyone was like "Oh david tennet is going to be crap" and he was even better !!! Smith may not look as nice as Tennet, but he is going to give his best, and you may never no, he may be a great actor, and he may even grow in your expectations

Matt Smith is ugly! Why isn't he hot?! Why isn't he wearing chucks? And a suit? Why is he ugly? Why couldn't David Tennant just stay as Doctor Who? David Tennant looks like my last years teacher...... i like chucks....especially black ones.....and blue ones...and green ones.....and red ones....and blue ones....and purple ones.....and technicolour ones.......TWILIGHT IS AWESOME!!!! This Doctor looks like a twat. I think he looks too young, the doctor is old! They look too 'perfect' for the doctor. does anyone know if he has an accent? If he doesn't have an accent I quit.

I think they look great, his outfit is sort of like the 2nd Doctor's costume. I can't wait to see Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor, I think he'll be just as good as David Tennant.

Kinda fits, doesn't it? Ugly Doctor, ugly costume. I know a lot of people thought that David Tennant wouldn't be a very good Doctor when they first saw him, and he turned out to be awesome... but this time, I think the producers were perhaps a little bit tipsy when they chose him.

Speaking strictly from a visual perspective, the new TARDIS team look "awfully" like the TARDIS team that they are replacing (Young Doctor in a brown suit and a young female companion with red hair!)....... Good grief!

I like the new costume. You can't say it's the end of Dr Who because of the costume. How fickle are this new generation of fans? Have they evey seen some of the older series from 1963-89?? Stop being so shallow and give the new cast and production team a chance. I'm looking forward to the change in direction and have ever confidence in Matt Smith. Be nice to finally have a break from Tennants 10th Doctor. Bring on Series 5. I've been a fan since 1982 and the one thing about Dr Who that I love is it's ability to thorw off the shackles of what came before and step out in a bold new direction. This isn't the end for Dr Who - this is a new beginning!! :) Embrace it and stop being shallow.

After many seasons of the same character, it'll be difficult to keep the inheritage. Mister Smith has to be good, and even strong. But i hope that the next season(s) will be better than the outgoing ones. Greetings from a french Doctorfan

eww! totally gross, old fashioned, non charismatic, boring drain pipes, non sexy, too young, I don't even want to watch him he is a total geekster. They could have picked many more brilliant actors, why choose someone who wasn't even a Whovian in their childhood? I reckon the polls are going to plummit. The 10th doctor is a hard act to follow and I don't think Matt Smith is strong enough. This outfit is an awful choice. The previous two doctor's have been relevant, and brilliant. I hope having a new script writer doesn't sink the series...roll on the 12th doctor!

I think Matt looks gorgeous! I love that style on him, the boots and the jacket especially. It's showing that he's completely different from David's Doctor as much as anything too. Something which I think people are going to have the hardest time dealing with. I hope that he gets to use some of his Party Animals humour in this too. Karen looks great too, I like the whole oversized jumper with short skirt and Converses look. At least the Cons are staying!

the new companion doesnt look to bad but he looks a bit stupid as that bow tie and jacket doesnt really suit him. Im not really looking forward to the new doctor who but i cant wait to see the final episode with david tennant :)
