Pics: On me head, Doctor!

Just days after we caught Matt Smith cavorting with a trolley, he's now been spotted playing a game of footie with James Corden.

The scenes - for episode 11 of the new series - see The Doctor have a kickabout with Corden's character while both are dressed in strips with 'Kings Arms' on the front.

i was prepared to give the new doc who a chance, but with the addition of james 'talent-void' corden to the show alumni i no longer feel that i can. he really should be kept off tv.

At first glance i thought it looked like he was taking part in charity footie match for sports relief or something like that. quite disturbed this is him being the Dr. I dont think im gonna like this new series :( hope it proves me wrong though and yeh he did intend to be a footballer at one point in time

OK we don't know the real reason The Doctor is playing football but it totally humanises him and makes him one of the lads which isn't good. Yes the fifth Doctor played in a cricket game once but you could get away with that as it was set in the 1920's and it was very olde fashioned England type scenes with the Doctor playing a very noble English game - this is just a kickabout on a pitch with the lads.

He looks nothing like the Doctor?! He is the Doctor! The show has never been about looks or Hollywood style pyro going off behind heroic looking Time Lords... that was just David Tennant. Get over it, he's gone, just enjoy Doctor Who for how it's meant to be viewed. Oh and these images were the same day as the Trolley, so nothing new...

He looks nothing like The Doctor and he actually makes James Corden look attractive!!

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Matt Smith at one point was pretty seriously into football, and might actually have tried for a career in it, but was forced to abandon it through injury. Maybe this is the producers giving a little nod to his extra-curricular talents?

Interesting Pictures there. Not sure how it will play into the final 2 episodes of the Series , as I know they are going to be a 2-parter , but it will be wicked to find out what Smith (11th Doctor) gets up to , on the show in this series. Can't wait now. Any ideas when the first episode is going to be airing on TV?

Before the teachers at our school saw that matt had a talent for acting he was a very good footballer. So why not take advantage of it he still has it if these pics are anything to go by. Leicester and Nottingham Forest loss is times gain.
