Ten teasers about 'Who' episode two
Published Saturday, Apr 3 2010, 19:26 BST | By Neil Wilkes | 19 comments

Here are ten tiny teasers about the Moffat-penned second episode, 'The Beast Below':
1. It's set more than a millennium into the future, at a time when the Earth has been abandoned and the UK is a floating spaceship known as Starship Britain.
2. That apparently makes
3. The Smilers are creatures that live in arcade machine boxes, similar to the Zoltar fortune teller from BIG. Except you should try to avoid interacting with these.
4. Amy is presented with three options, Matrix-style. She chooses the second, then the third.
5. "Protestors and citizens of limited ***** are *** ** *** *****."
6. There's an homage to Katy Brand's "f***ing Queen". But this one is merely "the bloody Queen".
7. Amy: "You look *****." The Doctor: "No, you look **** ****."
8. Amy wears her nightie throughout the episode - and it gets wet.
9. He may appear to be fun and kooky, but this Doctor can get angry. REALLY angry.
10. Episode two directly segues into episode three when The Doctor gets a call from an old pal.

Tuesday, 12th of April, 2763 Ab Urbe Condita 25998 Mayan Common Era @ 1:30 UTC Allo?? While a nude Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) has some appeal (at least to yours truly) let it not be the sole focus of the show. There is character development and the storyline to think of. Thank you. Calling dibs on the centre of The Tardis's couch (From The Peter Cushing movies??), Allons-y!!

I like a rebirth as much as anyone but I dont like a step back and that's what this was, cheap and nasty effects, a doctor who would looks more at home at Hogwarts than on a tardis (private school boy), a storyline with all the originality as any 70's Dr Who ep, with what looks like the same budget. BRING BACK RTD and maybe a female DR...this blows

Has the doctor ever met Winston Churchill? so HE may not be the friend that cals the doctor, also, the doctor has just got a new TARDIS, with a NEW phone, how can someone know the number (unless he kept it from journeys end) In which case its either jack, martha or rose, which it wont be. Someone from the Doctors future perhaps, RiverSong?

The Doctor's old pal that calls at the end of the episode will be Winston Churchill, as the third episode, 'Victory of the Daleks' is set in WWII Britain, and stars Churchill and Daleks.

i really enjoyed it,fun, fast, not to complicated story to start off with,at least Matt didn't spend half the episode in bed like David.Loved the traditional country village, like in the Tom Baker story The Android Invasion, and The Deamons with Jon Pertwee.Wasn't sure about Steve Moffatt to start with but if he writes like this i'll keep watching 10/10 for the first episode.Loved everything about it.

River Song is the one who calls him if I'm right. I think her two parter follows this ep; the one with the Angels? I'm quite looking forward to it, River mentions the ''crash of the Byzantium'' in Silence in the Library, and it looks like that adventure is the basis of her two-parter. Bring it!

Chantelle - River song is in the series twice, well four episodes. The first two parters with the Weeping Angels (4 & 5) and the last two episodes. Emily - The teasers clearly state that they say "bloody". DS are not wrong. It is not the Daleks, even though they are in the episode (and hardly a spoiler when they've been shown in several trailers now).
