Meera Syal talks 'Who', Silurians
Published Wednesday, May 19 2010, 00:01 BST | By Neil Wilkes | 5 comments
Classic Who monsters The Silurians return in this week's Doctor Who for the first of a two-part story, 'The Hungry Earth'.
The episodes, penned by Chris 'Torchwood' Chibnall(*), see The Doctor and Amy investigate a string of mysterious disappearances in a Welsh village. Could a scientific drilling project, led by Dr. Nasreen Chaudry, have any connection? You betcha.
We caught up with the delightful Meera Syal to find out more (scoop fans, take note: you'll like her). Hit play to see:
(*) Yes, the very same one involved in the murder of Tosh - we've still not forgiven you, Chibbers
Additional reporting by Chris Allen
