Last Friday night, rather than nursing a pint in our dingy local, we headed off to see Doctor Who Live at Wembley Arena, where hordes of tiny fans screamed, cried and went generally insane for a cavalcade of monsters and the appearance of the real-life Matt Smith.
Seeing as it's (probably) a mere 75 days until we see The Doctor return to the Tardis for the Christmas special, we caught up with Matt in the press room to talk about working with Michael Gambon and how production is progressing on season six.
And the previous interview Matt mentions? You'll have to wait until Christmas week for that particular stocking-filler...
Doctor Who Live is on a nationwide tour until November 7.
