Ahh, Donna Noble.

After some initial scepticism over the choice of the Doctor's next companion, Catherine Tate's Donna Noble quickly became a fan favourite in 2008. During her time in the TARDIS, the loudmouth Londonder visited ancient Pompeii, was chased by a giant wasp and encountered the Doctor's old foes the Sontarans... and the Daleks.

But her adventures in time and space were to be cut short. In a cruel twist, the Doctor was forced to wipe Donna's mind of their time together and send her home - but only after she had saved the universe itself.
