We're a bit behind the times here so I'm just checking for the new season. I can't believe the negative comments about Martha. She's the best of the three. Donna was a shrew and Rose was a wimp. Don't get me wrong...I liked all 3 but clearly the better actress is the one who made the most out of poor circumstances. Agyeman made the best companion because The Doctor could rely on her to take care of herself. Rose was needy and Donna was clueless.

Nooooo! No Martha please, bring back SJ and K9. And Ben how dare you criticise Sarah Jane (Elizabeth Sladen) she is the best DW companion EVER.
Annoyed, Herts on April 20th, 2009
All Freema Agyeman has mainly been in is Doctor Who and Torchwood. WE DONT WANT HER BACK!She had a tiny part in Survivors and is now in Law and Order Uk but she should stay out of Doctor Who!
Helena, Cardiff on April 15th, 2009
I'd love to see her come back for 1 or maybe a few eps with matt smith, i'd love to see how she'd get on with the doctor with a regeneration. also she has to come back for the finally, (infact i think everyone is anyway so... )Although not many people like martha she's one of my favourite characters hence season 3 of doctor who being my favourite series. which is suprising considering how good the other ones are. ^^
Hannah, York on March 3rd, 2009
Oh, no. I really hope we've seen the last of Martha. I'd much rather Donna came back for the regeneration - it would feel more appropriate, since I think the Doctor had a far closer relationship with her than with Martha, and Catherine Tate is a far more talented actress, which is needed in what is bound to be an incredibly emotional episode.
Mikey, Glasgow on February 19th, 2009
I wasn't 100% fond of Rose after Series Two because she just sort of wandered about going "Oh my god!" at everything. Then Martha came and I really didn't like her. She was pure all squealy and every time she gasped it was annoying. Then Donna came back and she was really funny and just hilarious. Unfortunately she left and I'm now incredibly worried that Martha's coming back to squeal at aliens. She can hardly act.
Sam, Manchester on February 19th, 2009
Oh how quickly we all forget Catherine-gate. If you think there is a Matt Smith outcry you should have been on this site when Tate was cast!
Jen, London on February 18th, 2009
i would love to see her with Matt Smith, they would look great together :P
Rina, Israel on February 17th, 2009
As a big fan of the show ,Dont bring her back, she was OK nothing more,Rose and the Doctor were fantastic together and that's the kind of match i want nothing less.
Russell, Cardiff on February 9th, 2009
My cat has more acting ability than Freema. Wooden is not the word.
Veronika, Germany on February 9th, 2009
I adored Martha (and I think Freema is a great actress) and I´d love to see her again in DW.
Elle, London on February 9th, 2009
Bring her back for the regeneration! Someone has to look after the Doctor, and who better than Martha?
malkyj, Birmingham on February 9th, 2009
Definitely. She was a wonderful companion and should have been given more than one series to demonstrate her full potential. I enjoyed her return to Dr Who and Torchwood last series but I felt her roles were underwritten and, in the case of Who, often reduced to wimpy screaming when she should have been an amazingly strong character after her experiences fighting against the Master. let's hope that if she does return she is given a role worthy of her character's talents.
Will, Leeds on February 9th, 2009
Please! No! 'm sorry, but I loathed Martha with a fiery passion and still can't bring myself to watch the third season boxed set purely because of that character. Really, we've had enough of this ill-conceived, underwritten and poorly realised character. More Donna would be fantastic, though. Now THAT was a performance!
Lester, Southampton on February 9th, 2009
I'd like Martha to hook up with Matt Smith's Doctor, as a one-off. It would be a cool piece of continuity to see how she copes with dealing with the whole regeneration thing. Let's see her as a super-strong professional UNIT person though, not a weak girly.
Emma, London on February 8th, 2009
Martha has had her time, and then overan it. Time for new blood - new Doctor, new companions.
Aaron Dunckley, Daventry on February 8th, 2009
I would really love Martha Jones to join Doctor who again, she is a great character and a great actress. Well done Freema Agyemen.
Daniel, Nottingham on February 8th, 2009
i love freema in dr who....she got slated but i don't see why...she was good...end of!!!!
dobsy, Ulster on February 8th, 2009
Nope, she's had her bit AND her numerous returns. If anyone is coming back it should be Catherine Tate as Donna, that's the only former companion that could be justified to come back.
Sose, Australia on February 8th, 2009
I think Freema's response was very fair. I'd love to see her back in the show; she was underused as a companion during her series and we only saw snippets of Martha's growth through series 4 really. She had to take on the enormous space that Billie left which would have been hard for anyone to do and she had to work with some tough storylines; I like Freema and David's chemistry so if she comes back, I'd be happy.
Daz, Newcastle on February 7th, 2009
I'd love to see her back, especially if the Master comes back... I loved Martha as a companion. Freema is a wonderful actress!
Rach, York on February 7th, 2009
Are my eyes deceiving me? Are people saying that Catherine Tate can ACT? She's by FAR the worst of the three, all she does is shout! Rose is my favourite and Billie is easily the best actress of the three but I love Freema and Martha equal amounts. Never, ever bring back Donna but Freema is always welcome.
Lee, N.I. on February 7th, 2009
I think if freema is to return to doctor who it needs to be while davids still there but I would love to see her in torchwood again martha fitted in brilliantly there!!
H, Staffs on February 7th, 2009
No I think her story is closed now. I do not want her to return at all. If she must though I would prefer her fiance/husband to be there as well to show she is happy in her new life without the Doctor. I don't want Martha to tarnish the complete love story of the Doctor and Rose.
Hannah, Bristol on February 7th, 2009
I don't like Martha end of. Rose and Donna are the best companions in my opinion. Billie and Catherine are by far the best actresses. I don't ever want Martha/Freema to go back on Doctor Who.
Rose, Cheshire on February 7th, 2009
I don't want her to come back as I think it was the end of her story arc in series 4 like the other companions Rose and Donna. And to be honest I don't like Martha, but I like Freema. So all in all, Don't ever go back to Doctor Who Martha!
Bas, Germany on February 7th, 2009
I'd be more than happy to see her - it would sad for the Doctor to undergo a change without a familiar face by his side. I think poor old Freema is as underrated as her predecessor is overrated - perhaps some found her (Martha) less easy to like cos she was not as desperate as Rose to be liked and had less of Donna's comic charms ...
Hana, Liverpool on February 7th, 2009
As much as I love Doctor Who, I am way more excited about the prospect of Law and Order UK! I heard rumours that it was in the works but I was a bit dubious about it. However, if Freema is going to be in it, no doubt it will be brill!
David, Scotland on February 7th, 2009
The usual criticism. Does anyone ever say anything positive on DS? I can't wait for Martha to return.
Dee, Norfolk on February 7th, 2009
Freema cannot act! I don't know how she got the part as the Doctor's assistant. No, I don't want to see her back on Doctor Who, especially not Torchwood and for that matter on television.
Sanjidah, Birmingham on February 7th, 2009
freema is great hope she comes back to torchwood and doctor who and people who say she isnt great! i dont see them on tv do i!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Natalie, London on February 7th, 2009
Would you like to see Martha Jones back on Doctor Who? NO!!!!!!!
Ben, Midlands on February 7th, 2009
Her acting was atrocious. I'm not sure if it was just because she was acting against Tennant but I never connected with the performance of Martha. she was by far the worst assistant of the 4 seasons in my opinion. Also, I hope Sarah-Jane doesnt return. She was just as bad.
