Im confused, does he regenerate at the end of Waters of Mar's, the Children in Need, or next year? (At the end of the two Christmas specials! -Neil)

Waters of Mars airs on Sunday, 15thNov and looks exceptionally good. Been a Dr Who fan all my life and always liked Jon Pertwee best - until now. David Tennant has been amazing showing how versatile he is and he will be much missed.

Are you sure it's from the last story? I mean, it could be from almost any story, couldn't it. I'll continue to look forward to the first REAL picture from his finale, then.

Interesting Pic ! It does look quite dark & ominous, going by this, though it seems Waters of Mars will be off the scale for the Fear Factor anyway, it seems the last 3 will be pretty spooky.

I'm an huge 8th Doctor fan and although I like the new series, I've still haven't forgivern RTD for wiping out the Time Lords (lazy writing in my view) and making every female 10 comes into snog him (*rollseyes*). However... I will be sad to see DT leave. He was brilliant and is a vertitable bolt of energy - just how the DW should be played. Will miss him lot's x

No one would have believed, in the last years of the nineteenth century, that human affairs were being watched from the timeless worlds of space.’

Although forever playing outdoors as a child, I was glued to watching Dr Who, half scared, half excited on a Sat evening. David Tennant has been the most wonderful Doctor for me and although I can't wait to see his last few episodes, and am sure Matt will be good, I fear that it will just not be the same. There are some characters that some actors play and no one can ever better them and I feel David can be proud that in my view he has been the finest Doctor we are every likely to see. So thank you David for bringing back that childhood tingle.

Well if this is a representation of the entire episode, it looks very dark indeed. This doesn't surprise me though as according to recent reports back from the screening of The Waters of Mars, it was quite a change in style described as "Very emotional and scary. New territory for The Doctor" Leading the Doctor towards an eminent end. I'm torn. I can't wait, to watch his final 3 specials, but am dreading David's final moments as the Doctor.

I'm hoping that David will still be the Doctor at the end of the episodes, and that he'll regenerate into Matt Smith NEXT YEAR. I'm not ready to say goodbye to him at all. Have to say, in that regard, it's nice that we're a little behind here. There's no air date for "Water of Mars" yet. David's still the Doctor!

Interesting pic. It doesn't give much away , but you can be sure of that it won't be a nice ending for Tennant.
