When will this air in the United States and where?

Bernard Cribbiins is indeed a TV legend but Wilf is far from his best performance. I'm a little disappointed that they are bringing Wilf front and center and seem to be relegating Catherine Tate's appearance to little more than a cameo.

Bernard Cribbins is a TV Legend! What a joy he must of been to interview! Bring back the Bernard's Wombles that's what i say perhaps they could appear in Dr Who in the future as the friends of the Ode!

Darlek Caan also mentioned that one of his companions would die. I thought it wad going to be that episode but obviously not, maybe it is going to be Wilf.... I hope not tho :(

Nah! I think he just means that there isn't really a way to bring the character back after the episodes, so if he "regenerates" he could play a different character. If Wilf dies I will hunt down RTD and slap him soooo hard!!

Ooooh! We have an Immortality Gate.. nice. The little teaser from The Wedding of Sarah Jane comes to life :) Can't wait for this... poor Wilf.

Yes I'm thinking Wilf dies. Did you guys notice when he's talking about the poster they gave him as a present? It had written on it "To the Doctor's most faithful companion"!!! Dalek Caan's prediction!!!

Has no one thought that his most faithfull companion could be the tardis? set pictures show that 11th doctor comes oput of a steaming tardis and next years tardis does look a lot different, who says that the tardis is not going to die and the doctor isn't just going to grow a new one?

Intersting comment that Bernard said at the end of the interview about "Re-generation". I hope he will be back with the new Doctor next year. The Special at Christmas and the second part sometime around New Year , will be very interesting to watch and I wonder about the knocking too as it seems to be said in Part 2 and The Master would have already appeared in 1 , so I wonder if Davros is going to be returning to the show later maybe. Doctor Who is so cool and I am going to watching a Doctor Who episode later about when The Master returned and defeated The Doctor but we all know how that one ended though (I think it was first shown in 2005 as I remember)

Bernard Cribbins is an absolute legend. Love him in DW and desperately hope he gets a happy ending. I cant bear anymore sadness from that show!

Bernard Cribbins starred in the 60's dr who movies so its not the first time he has been with the doctor

THEY CAN'T KILL WILFY! I'm not sure who I adore more, Wilf or Bernard- both absolutely legendary :D

All sounding very interesting and fantastic, which would be expected from Doctor Who and Tennant's finale. As much as I'm excited and saddened about David's last episodes, I'm also looking forward to the revamp and freshening up of the series next year. There's only so many times you can hear "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry" and it not get dull! Now's the perfect time for Doctor No. 10 to depart in my opinion.

I've never been looking forward to a Doctor Who more and wishing it would never come at the same time. David Tennant has been the best Doctor Who ever and I reckon The End of Time is going to be a really sad bowout. It definitely sounds like Wilf will die, which is a really heartbreaking way to close Tennant's Doctor story, on top of Tennant's already assured death.

I just love that man. His character reminds me so much of my own grandfather, and he is always a joy to see. I'm not thrilled with the "most faithful companion" bit, since that usually means they die, but as long as he's still around at the end of the finale, I'm good.

I'm assuming that the Immortality Gate is Galifreyan, giving the user (in this case the Doctor), infinite regenerations (taking away the problem of the 13 maximum that were given to begin with). What if the DOCTOR knocked Four Times on the Gate? He's shown he'll change history...why wouldn't he want to be immortal?

He mentioned the most faithful compaion and Dalek Caan said "Everlasting death for the most faithful compaion" Are they going to kill Wilf!?

Not only his final comment, but I also found it very interesting to learn of how he was described on his 'Wrap Party' Present. I'm sure I've heard that phrase used before from a certain crazy Dalek.
