The R&B singer revealed on her Global Grind blog that she found the contestants' perseverance "inspirational" and also said that it was an "honour" to be an ambassador to the Boys and Girls Club of America.
The 29-year-old wrote: "Being a part of The Biggest Loser makeover show last night was such an amazing experience. Seeing the fight, the drive, and the emotional barriers being broken in order to gain self-confidence, love and most importantly to become healthy, was so inspirational. For me to be able to give them something back through music and to perform such an inspirational song like 'Shine' was a true honour.
"While The Biggest Loser aired, I was in Phoenix giving back to the Boys and Girls Club of America (BGCA). It is also an honour being an ambassador for the BGCA - I had a blast last night at the ODIE Awards speaking on the importance of the BGCA in young kids' lives and how it can better their future. Denzel Washington, Martin Sheen, Usher and myself to name a few, have spearheaded the 'BE GREAT' campaign across the country to show kids through the BGCA they could do just that! It feels great to be able to give back and make someone else happy! POW"
