Former Survivor contestants Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich have been confirmed as a team on the upcoming seventh season of The Amazing Race.
The duo first met on the allstars version of the island-based reality show last year, which Brkich went on to win. They have since become engaged.
"They're a very strong team, very competitive," said Amazing Race executive producer Bertram van Munster. "You see them as a team rather than as singles competing."
Co-creator Elise Doganieri added: "[The Race is] something that strengthens a team or tears them apart. I'm sure they had intimate discussions we didn't hear, but they're a strong team. They work well together."
Meanwhile, Rob and Amber look set to appear in a second reality show this summer: one that follows their marriage. "I'm working on their wedding," said Survivor guru Mark Burnett. He added that it would air on CBS, possibly as a May sweeps special or as a short-run summer series.
