'Torchwood' UK airdate confirmed by BBC

A spokesperson recently confirmed that the first episode of the ten-part sci-fi drama will air in a Thursday night slot at 9pm.
The series, a co-production between the BBC and cable network Starz, will premiere in the US six days earlier, on Friday, July 8.
