Interactive 'Torchwood' adventure launched

Torchwood fans can take part in a new interactive adventure that ties in with the broadcast of the second series on BBC Two.

The online game, hosted on bbc.co.uk/torchwood, features cast members Gareth David Lloyd, Eve Myles and Naoko Mori. It is written by Phil Ford, who penned four episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures and an upcoming episode of Torchwood.

Although the game functions as a separate entity, the specially shot footage is designed to be consistent with developments in the current series throughout its thirteen episode duration.

Ford stated: "You may find that there are elements of the episode that you’ve just watched which may crop up in each weekly mission. It’s a good idea to watch the episodes very carefully in this season because you never know what in the background may turn up and be relevant to the story online."
