Freddie-centric 'Skins' ep draws 693k

Skins dropped to 693k (3.9%) last night, according to early viewing figures.

The latest episode, which focused on Luke Pasqualino's character Freddie, was down around 75k on last week's instalment. Similarly, the timeshift figures were down: this week, 185k (1.9%) tuned in on Channel 4+1, compared to 213k (1.9%) last Thursday.

What Katie Did Next pulled in a decent 1.35m (5.5%) for ITV2 during the 9pm hour, making it the most-watched programme on the multichannel stations.

Also on ITV2 last night, American Idol and Secret Diary Of A Call Girl logged 569k (2.2%) and 587k (2.8%) at 8pm and 10pm respectively.

Elsewhere, the latest instalment of MasterChef attracted 4.22m (16.5%) to BBC One at 8pm, then the audience dipped to 4.15m (16.8%) during the 9pm screening of Crimewatch.

British Columbia: Canada's Olympic Wilderness interested 2.01m (7.9%) for BBC Two at 8pm, then Mock The Week and Rab C Nesbitt put in 2.83m (11.3%) and 1.59m (6.5%) during the 9pm hour.

The Bill drew 3.96m (16%) for ITV1 at 9pm.

Channel 4's My Dream Farm grabbed 1.08m (4.2%) at 8pm, then the audience climbed to 2.05m (8.3%) during the 9pm screening of the Scams, Claims and Compensation Games documentary.

Five's coverage of the Europa League Live averaged 1.61m (6.7%) across the 7.30pm-10.30pm period.

Overall, ITV1 edged primetime with an average share of 21.7% to BBC One's 21.2%. BBC Two was third with 6.9%, followed by Channel 4 with 5.3% (+1: 0.7%) and Five's 5.8%.
