Shock 'Skins' twist seen by 648,000

A further 151k (1.7%) tuned in for the shock twist on E4+1, but the overall figures were down on last week's performance of 678k (3.8%) and 221k (2.3%) on timeshift.
Also on the multichannel stations last night, What Katie Did Next took 1.15m (5%) for ITV2 during the 9pm hour, then Secret Diary of a Call Girl bowed out to 505k (2.6%) at 10pm.

Elsewhere, MasterChef attracted 4.04m (16.6%) to BBC One at 8pm, then the audience dipped to 3.66m (15.9%) during the 9pm screening of Cars, Cops and Criminals.
Lambing Live pulled in 2.14m (8.8%) for BBC Two during the 8pm hour, then 1.49m (6.5%) watched Michelin Stars - The Madness of Perfection at 9pm.
The Bill averaged 3.95m (17.2%) for ITV1 in its usual 9pm slot.
Over on Channel 4, Country House Rescue and Too Poor For Posh School? put in 1.52m (6.3%) and 1.89m (8.2%) at 8pm and 9pm respectively, then 1.13m (6.3%) tuned in for Alan Carr: Chatty Man at 10pm.
Build A New Life In The Country had 664k (2.7%) for Five during the 8pm hour, then The Hard Corps averaged 832k (4.3%) between 9pm and 11pm.
Overall, ITV1 edged primetime with an average share of 21.8% to BBC One's 21.1%. Channel 4 was third with 5.9% (+1: 1%), followed by BBC Two with 5.6%, and Five's 5.1%.
