We got on the phone with Laya Lewis - who plays Liv - to chat about what we've just seen. What on Earth is going to happen after that crash, for example? And we also tried to get some hints about what's coming up in the rest of the series...
Read on to find out what Laya had to say about last night's episode and what we can expect in the next few weeks!
That car crash was a big shocker! How did you feel when you heard about it?
"It was really crazy because the car crash had been talked about since before we started filming this series, but I was never actually in the car. And then I think they only wrote me into the scene a couple of weeks or so beforehand - I'm not quite sure. I only found out then. So I was really, really shocked."
Were you glad to be a part of it?
"Yeah, I was, because it was really challenging. It was good."
It was pretty intense to watch - what was it like filming it? Because we see you crashing and then climbing out of the car.
"I remember when we got down on set and we saw the aftermath of the crash, it was just really shocking. And for Jess [who plays Grace] in a coma and everything, it was just really shocking."
So in the episodes coming up, what kind of effect is the crash going to have on the group?
"I think you can imagine! Mini and Liv without Grace... it doesn't take much for Mini and Liv to not be that nice to each other. That's a massive weight on their friendship. Then you've got Rich, obviously. You've got everyone, because Grace is so innocent. I just don't think it would have worked if that had happened to any other character, not to the effect it's going to have because it happened to her. It's just so not fair, basically."
Are we going to find out how Grace is? Whether she pulls through?
"Yeah, yeah you will find out."

And what about Liv - will we see any romance for her this series?
"No, no. She's very much not boy-orientated. I don't even have any sex scenes or anything - thank God for that! I think it's still very much part of her character to be promiscuous and stuff, but it's just not a main part of her storyline this year."
So what can we expect for her?
"I think for all of them, you just experience the way that they've all reacted to what happened to Grace and the stuff going on in Morocco. And also her friendship with Alex, which is fun."
Yes, we haven't met Alex yet! Tell us a bit about their relationship.
"They're just really, really great friends. There's nothing sexual there, which is nice because obviously he's gay. So yeah, it's just a really, really sweet, genuine friendship."
Are there more shocks and surprises to come?
"Yeah, definitely. Throughout the series!"
And why should we be looking forward to the rest of the series? Can you give us any teasers?
"I don't think I really can! It's just a lot more intense and extreme than last year, and that's always a good thing, I think, when it comes to Skins."
Skins continues on Monday at 10pm on E4.
