On the next episode of '24'...

There are just now four hours remaining in what has undoubtedly been one of 24's best ever seasons. But with the clock ticking, will Jack be able to thwart evil good evil Tony's plans to let off the wayward canister? And how will he manage to do that whilst fighting his increasingly debilitating infection?

"one of 24's best ever seasons" are you watching the same show?!?! It has been better than season 6, but honestly compare it to season 1-3 and it is just not in the same league any more. The best thing they could do is kill Jack off in a big finale and stop it there. There's just nothing else they haven't done that could shock us now! (see twisty-turny Tony story for current lack of imagination). It's still OK but not what bit used to be - must watch page-turner TV.
