Endemol have branded five's new reality show Back To Reality "a rip-off" of its own Celebrity Big Brother.
According to Broadcast this week, the company has written to five's lawyers saying that it is "considering" its position after noticing similarities between the two shows.
An Endemol spokesman told the magazine: "There has been a letter sent from our side to Five to object against Back to Reality, which is in our view a rip-off of Celebrity Big Brother. We are now considering our position."
A spokesman for Five said that they were "confident" that the format did not infringe upon any other format rights.
