Fifth time unlucky for Josie

After weathering an early whispering campaign about being a "mole", and winning four eviction face-offs against fellow Back To Reality guests Catalina Guirado, Sarah Kozar, Ricardo Ribeiro and Rik Waller, presenter, Merseybeat actress and The Games contender Josie D'Arby must have seemed almost invincible. But her fifth time in the hot seat saw her come up against feisty Welsh pensioner Driving School's Maureen Rees, and suddenly it was all over. Craig, Jade and James voted unanimously to keep Maureen and send Josie back to reality.

A cool head in a house filled with firebrands, Josie was initially accused by Nick of being a production plant, a theme soon picked up on by many of her fellow guests. Finding an ally in Craig, with whom she had to spend a night suspended in a David Blaine-style perspex box, Josie rose above the accusations, which came to a head on the night of Ricardo's spectacularly hysterical kitchen tantrum before eventually dying down. Josie's tasks included the reprise of the Tanks of Terror, in which she lay in a tank filled with water fleas and the curiously-named anal worms.

Only James Hewitt, Jade Goody, Craig Phillips and Maureen Rees now remain in the show which is due to run until Friday, when the winner's charity will benefit from the accumulating prize fund which currently stands at over £83,000.
