Alicia Douvall walks off 'Love Island' set
Alicia Douvall became the first celebrity to leave Love Island last night.

The glamour model faced eviction from the reality series alongside Chris Brosnan and Colleen Shannon, but walked off the show after deciding that she couldn't face the "humiliation" of the final vote.

"I can't handle it. This is rejection, I'm sorry I'm a wimp," she complained. "I would rather just walk. That's what they're trying to do, drain the last bit of humiliation."

Meanwhile, four of the remaining celebrities rebelled against the show's producers by refusing to confirm Alicia's departure in the eviction decision.

Former Hollyoaks star Lee Otway said that he didn't want anyone to leave, while Brendan Cole tried to persuade the others to be reasonable, pointing out, "It's not a personal thing. We've got to make a decision and Alicia seems like she's ready to leave."

Despite this, Bianca Gascoigne, Kelle Bryan, Shane Lynch and Lee all refused to vote. However, with four votes from Sophie Anderton, Lady Victoria Hervey, Leo Ihenancho and Brendan, Alicia was confirmed as the first evictee.

There are now ten celebrities left on the island - but they will soon be joined by last year's star Paul Danan.
