Alicia Douvall
The glamour model walked off the set of the show during Friday night's live episode after being told that her fellow contestants would be responsible for picking whether to evict herself, Chris Brosnan or Colleen Shannon.
Four of the celebs - Bianca Gascoigne, Kelle Bryan, Shane Lynch and Lee Otway - then refused to vote, despite being pressed to make a decision by show presenter Patrick Kielty.
"Today was bad. I couldn't sleep because of the evictions and I'm glad I’m still here," Bianca told the Beach Hut. "And then there was the bombshell that we had to vote. It is not in my nature - that's why I didn't vote."
Chris added, "It was hard on everyone. Alicia just quit; she didn't want to go through with it, I don't blame her. Personally I wouldn't of quit, but that's what happened. She walked."
Meanwhile, Brendan Cole and Lady Victoria Hervey defended their decision to take part in the eviction vote which saw Alicia's departure from the show confirmed.
"I am here to make a TV show and if that means to pick someone, that is entertaining," Brendan explained. "There are people we don't bond with but we still love them and, week by week, it is going to be harder."
Lady Victoria insisted, "I didn't want to vote but we had to come up with a name. One of them wanted to do it out of straws, which was ridiculous. Ridiculous. Everyone was screaming - I didn't want to look like the bitch when I said it should be this person [Alicia]. I feel awful.
"Right now it's made everyone totally paranoid and upset. The whole build-up has been horrible - everyone has been packing their bags."
