'Island' star Brendan opens up to Eve

Brendan Cole has been getting to know new arrival Eve Ryan better after they were voted into the Love Shack together.

The ballroom dancer was given a task which saw him answering a series of personal questions put to him by Eve.

Asked about his proudest moment, he replied, "Proposing to Camilla, my ex. It was very romantic, we always knew we'd be together and get married and spend the rest of our lives together.

"Camilla and I were inseparable 24/7 for eight years. We never did anything special for each other or bought each other presents but Camilla always wanted a diamond ring - when we could afford it I thought 'I'm gonna buy her that ring!'"

Cole went on to admit that his biggest regret was letting Camilla go, telling Eve that he won't allow himself to make the same mistake again.

Later, Brendan went into the Beach Hut and commented on the time that he had spent with Eve in the Shack.

"I love spending time with her and I don't know what my feelings are," he explained. "I'm not going to marry her at the end of Love Island. I guess I fancy her a little bit but I have been here for four weeks. I'm like any other male, there is a sexual tension."
