Lee hopeful of future with Colleen

Love Island star Lee Otway believes that he has a future with Colleen Shannon.

The former Hollyoaks star revealed the extent of his feelings in a heart-to-heart with Shane Lynch.

"The other night she came over and said that everyone has been telling her to tell me how she feels," Lee explained. "She said that she adores me and she doesn't want to seem like she's going from guy to guy. She said to give it a couple of days. The next day we went for a walk on the beach and I thanked her for being honest and said 'Do you think there is a chance?' and she said yes.

"On the day trip, on the way home, she fell asleep on my shoulder. There were a couple of moments where there could have been a kiss but I didn't act on it. Yesterday we were flirting and in bed we were rubbing each others' noses. Colleen said when we have our first kiss it will be special."

Shane warned the actor that long-distance relationships can often be troublesome, but Lee would not be discouraged.

"As long as she thinks it could work, there's no reason why it couldn't work," he insisted. "If you think the world of someone you take the risk to make the relationship work."
