Chapman backs girls for 'Idol' win
Published Sunday, Aug 31 2003, 12:52 BST | By Neil Wilkes
Nicki Chapman believes she's already found the winner of Pop Idol 2003, months before the top ten has even been finalised.
"If you were watching Saturday's show you may have had a sneak preview of our eventual winner," Nicki told the Star on Sunday.
"It wouldn't be fair to say which one it was - but there was at least one person with the potential to go the whole way."
Unlike last year's show where the final three were all male, the judging panel expect the girls to rule amongst the new bunch.
Those in with a shout include ex-lapdancer Rebecca, 24, whom Foxy described as "naughty but very nice" and mum-of-three Kim, 23, who was criticised for her size but praised for her voice.
Next Saturday's show will see the top 100 whittled down to a top 50.
