Britney: "Tell Cowell to shove it"
Published Monday, Oct 27 2003, 14:20 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
Britney Spears has advised the ten remaining Pop Idol finalists to ignore any putdowns they receive from Simon Cowell.
"Everyone has an opinion. Sometimes you're not the greatest in the world," she told ITV1's This Morning today. "I would take his advice and whatever he said and tell him to shove it!"
Despite not being a Cowell fan, Spears admitted that she enjoyed watching the show.
"I think it's inspiring for kids. I think people watch that and it gives them hope," she added. "You see these kids, they're hungry and they're inspired and they're motivated."
Spears is currently in London promoting her duet with Madonna, 'Me Against The Music'.
