'Idol' finalist Mark to play local gig
Pop Idol runner-up Mark Rhodes is to make a personal appearance at his cousin's Staffordshire pub, according to the Express and Star today.

Darlaston-born Mark will visit the Railway Inn in Penkridge as soon as his schedule allows in order to "thank regulars for supporting him in his bid to win the competition."

The pub, run by Trevor Denston, was packed out for the final on December 20 but despite huge local support, he only managed second place.

Mark is currently in London trying to further his record career.
