Ant and Dec on board for next 'Pop Idol'

Ant and Dec have confirmed that they'll be back on board to host the third series of Pop Idol next year.

There had been some speculation that the pair had grown bored with the show, which will return Autumn 2005.

The duo are first busy with some TV work in the States, followed by a fourth run of I'm A Celebrity in November.

Dec told the Daily Star today that the next series, dubbed Pop Idol: The Next Generation, would have the same sort of spark as the first series. "The show will come back and blow everybody out of the water again, the same way the first one did."
