Smack the Pony star Doon Mackichan became the sixth celebrity ousted from the Fame Academy last night.
All of the four remaining students were on probation and singing for survival in an extended one-hour show. The public vote saved just two -- Kwame and Will -- leaving just Ruby and Doon.
The decision of who had to leave then fell upon Kwame and Will, who voted for who they wanted to stay in the academy. Whilst Kwame went for Ruby as she "gave the best performance," Will picked Doon, for reasons he wasn't even sure.
A one-all tie meant the results of the public vote were recalled upon. Since Ruby finished third, she kept her place in the academy, sending Doon home.
On hearing the result, Doon said: "It's been a miracle, but we'll see each other again on Friday."
All three students will now be singing for survival tonight to claim a place in the final two.
Celebrity Fame Academy airs Thursday at 19.00 on BBC One.
