Tim Vine next to leave 'Fame Academy'

Tim Vine became the fourth celebrity to be eliminated from Comic Relief Does Fame Academy last night.

The comedian was in the bottom three alongside Zoe Salmon and Mel Giedroyc after failing to win public support with a performance of Viva Las Vegas.

Once the trio had performed their songs again, the judges were split on who to save, with each contestant picking up a vote each. However, as headteacher Richard Park has the deciding vote in the event of a tie, it was confirmed that Zoe, his choice, would be allowed to return to the Academy for another day.

The students then chose to give Mel another chance at winning over the public, leaving Tim as the fourth evictee.

Comic Relief Does Fame Academy continues tonight at 7.40pm.
