I'm thinking, like some already, that Gallifrey will be restored somehow and maybe the Doctor will know it, but maybe he won't. Maybe Gallifrey coming back to life will be the final shot of Series 4. Wouldn't that be sweet?

Hi Neil, do you have any idea what sort of role Jackie Tyler a.k.a. the wonderful Camille Coduri will have in the finale? I'm dying to know! (She's not in episode 12, but pops up in the actual finale with Mickey next week. That's all I'm saying. -Neil)

At first, I wasn't sure I liked Donna very much, however as the series progressed, i began to like her more and more and the major turning point for me was the episode "Forest of the Dead" Although I don't think she should return for another series. I would love Martha Jones to come back full time to the Doctor, and I think that Rose will be killed.
Colleen, USA on June 25th, 2008
Unfortunately, it probably will be Rose dying and hearing the L word from the D man, because Billie Piper has a very popular show on cable right now...Not one of my faves, but there you go. (show I mean). I really like Donna though, because she really makes for those of us who may not be quite as young as the rest (no, she isn't old, or close to it). Just being in the late 20-40 crowd does it for us to feel included these days. 42 is the new 25. Am I right? Too bad the bees really are disappearing from the parasites....

"You cannot possibly flirt" -- I'm thinking it's Ianto's line or the Doctors. Ianto for Companion!!

Why do they insist on making the actors stand in such ridiculous posses? David Tennant looks like a right prat stood like that, surely they could have them stand in some more natural posses, the photos would be much better.

I think the female 'exterminated' will be Harriet Jones. I'm certain RTD wouldn't kill off a particular assistant for the sake of killing an assistant off!
Sean, Burnley on June 25th, 2008
Would love Astrid (Kylie) to come back on board for series 5! Or even Jenny the Doctors Daughter!
Mark, UK on June 25th, 2008
I'll plump for Sally Sparrow turning up in Series 5 if/when it gets made - especially as she's a pet creation of Moffatt... And it certainly looks like Donna is for the chop - which is a shame really.
Julie Baldwin on June 25th, 2008
I think the next assistant for Doctor Who should be Eve Myles (I think thats her name...lol). She's great in Torchwood and would bounce well off the Doctor.

I want Rose. And i agree with everything Natalie (UK) said on june24th 2008!
Mike S, Christchurch on June 25th, 2008
Bring back Sally Sparrow!!!

'"could you confirm or deny this... or give us a hint which Who Assistant may be for the chop?! Heres hoping its Martha Jones..." You really should have edited the bit about Martha Jones before publishing the question. It is really mean-spirited.' Ditto. Bloody hell, if no one else can keep their nasty opinions to themselves then I might add, here's hoping it's Rose. I try to stay balanced and keep my offensive opinion away from public forums but I'm frankly getting sick of seeing my favourite character constantly bashed.

"Tell the Doctor from me, he chose his companions well." - I'm going to guess by Sarah Jane

How can you possibly prefer Martha to Rose!? Rose was brilliant...And Im sad and want them to be reunited haha...Im not realllyyyyy upset if Donna goes...Although I do find her very funny and a breath of fresh air... But I really want Rose to come back, I was absolutely devastated when she left lol
John, Philadelphia PA on June 25th, 2008
I could see the Doctor finally telling Rose he loves her as she's dying, but it won't be Sarah Jane or Martha due to their respective TV shows as Martha is a good fit on Torchwood. As for Donna... I won't miss her - worst companion ever.

I'm sorry for your loss. I mean the loss that *** *** to ****. has yet come

I'm very excited about the finale!!! Can't wait to see what they do with old Davros. I bet his dialogue is fantastic. I just hope RTD hasn't made the last two episodes a joke. What i mean is that so far whenever the Doc has met them in S2/3 he doesn't seem to fazed by them. I want to see him him terrified. As for S5 I can't wait to see the direction that SM takes this fantastic show in!!! His episodes have been my fave out of all the revived seasons so far, especially "Blink." I think there will be less humour. As for companion I hope it is an unknown actress or at least someone older like Donna. Her acting is fantastic and less comedic than I thought it would be. She has proved a real asset to S4, much to my suprise. Jo Joyner (played Linda in S1, BW and POTW now Tania in EastEnders) That kind of age and relatively unknown at the time. We don't need big names just fantastic actors with excellently written backstories, like Rose and Donna who have proved really popular. As and when DT leaves please, please, please.....not Robert Carlisle. let me know what you think!

Picture's amazing, apart from the absence of Ianto, Gwen and Luke. Gutted K-9, Maria and Clyde won't be in it though... what about Jenny?
Lythia @ the Hub... on June 24th, 2008
"You cannot possibly flirt." I can totally see the Doctor saying that to Jack in the middle of this crisis.
Sam, Lancs on June 24th, 2008
Please don't let Donna die... she's great I was kina hoping it would be Rose but you can't have everything can you? I think I'm gonna cry now but the thought of Martha returning might just make it for me... :) You go Martha and kick Rose's ass!
Chris, in the Midlands right now as it happens... on June 24th, 2008
Isn't it about time they filled us in on the Time War, the Eighth Doctor's fate (come on you remember that film in the 90's... what do you mean, you weren't born yet? :p) and of course his change from happy go lucky adventurer to a wounded Northerner wary of us stupid apes...
Philip, Hgher Whitley on June 24th, 2008
Is Penelope Wilton as Harriet in this episode or is she not back until episode 13?

Hmm, just realised how silly I was. I forgot about someone...
Michael, Perth. on June 24th, 2008
Well, you've implied that Donna and Martha survive. Sarah Jane's got her own series so she can't die. That leaves... :O Rose or Jackie. We don't know Jackie VERY well. Oh dear.

Don't mean to be picky or anything but it's 'Caan' not Khan! Thanks for the info! (Whoops, fixed! I blame the stress of the Earth's interdimensional move... -Neil)

oooh I'm so excited for the final episodes!! I'm psyched that Ianto and Jack are in it but if they kill Ianto I'll officially hate the BBC :) They've already killed my Owen I can't take much else!
Natalie, UK on June 24th, 2008
I require Rose to live. Her and the Doctor to be reunited and for him to finish what he was going to say to her on that beach in Norway two years ago. *Sighs dreamily* I then require them both to live forever. And finally, I require Billie Piper and David Tennant to return *permenantly* for series/season five.
Andrew, Cardiff on June 24th, 2008
WHAT!!! the whole finale will be ruined for me by the knowledge that they're getting rid of donna, that's thee single worst decision that they've ever made, she made this series. thats 3 assistants in 3 series, its getting pathetic! she is 100 times better than rose and martha
