It seems that oddball Aussie comedy Summer Heights High is finally starting to gain the attention it deserves.
If you still haven't seen it yet...
1) you really should pay more attention to Tube Talk;
2) you've missed the first run on BBC Three but keep checking your TV guide for repeats;
3) hang your head in shame for being so bloody useless!
The rest of you will no doubt have seen the final episode, which included the much-anticipated premiere of Mr G's hilarious school musical, 'Mr G: An Arena Spectacular'.
The show's highlight - moralistic dance number 'Naughty Girl' - was actually released as a single in Australia earlier this year (it didn't do very well, but let's gloss over that).
Click 'play' below to watch the accompanying music video, made from home video footage sent in by Mr. G fans. Look out for a special cameo from one of his favourite pupils!
Am I alone in thinking that 'Naughty Girl' deserves a proper release over here too? The campaign starts here!

Yes Chris Lilley revealed on aussie radio that he is in secret talks about releasing it in the UK and it is going to take on a 'new form'! This single needs to get released, it's so catchy! In fact, I love all of the Mr. G the musical songs! In order for it to be successful though, it needs to be publicised alot and the BBC should broadcast it on BBC2 so that it reaches the masses. Novelty songs tend to do well in the UK charts and I would buy it! Summer Heights High is a fantastic programme and Chris Lilley is a genius for creating it.

Didn’t do very well in Australia?! I heard it went to number 1 in some states, top 10 for the whole country, and sales went gold! And… Chris Lilley was interviewed on an Aussie radio show last week and said that they WERE working on a top secret UK release, that it would be in a slightly different form to what was released in Australia, and hinted that there might be special guests or a collaboration of some kind. I can’t wait.

'Naughty Girl' is brilliant, just like the show, and should definitely be released here! I hope BBC3 get the rights to show Chris Lilley's other show 'We Can Be Heroes' too!!

Release Naughty Girl and the other songs, some of them were better than the rubbish in the charts now. Mr G is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!

Loved SHH! Heard the song ages back when the show first started on BBC Three and I tried playing to other friends... they seem uninterested because I think you have to watch the show to get the proper humour in the song. Although Mr G is the best character out of the three, I think they need to put the show on BBC One/Two, get more viewers and then defo bring out the song... I can't see it doing too well but it would get the show more publicity. Or they could bring it out with the DVD release of the series which is coming out soon :D Certainly one of the funniest shows this year... love the video... I'd prob buy the song!

Of course it should have it's release here, after all the UK is renowned for 'one-hit-wonders' and novelty songs! You can download it here in cyberspace (loads of remixes too). In fact, I heard it at a few venues during Pride here in Brighton last weekend, once heard it's hard to shake it out of your head, e-e-e-e-ecstasy! Brilliant!
