'Call Girl' series two preview
Published Monday, Aug 18 2008, 14:50 BST | By Neil Wilkes | 4 comments

The new run of eight episodes introduces two new regular characters, Bambi (Ashley Madekwe), a naive young girl looking to get into the business; and Alex (Callum Blue), a handsome guy Belle originally mistakes for a client then starts up an interesting "relationship" with.
As for best friend Ben (Iddo Goldberg), he's now loved up and has moved out of London. We don't see much of him for the first few episodes, but he's back with a bang later in the series.
As you may recall from the end of series one, Belle has ditched her agent and gone it alone, rather successfully in fact. Stephanie (Cherie Lunghi) isn't off the show entirely, however.
As for the show's calling card - the sex - well, it doesn't show any signs of getting tamer. In the first episode alone we have a delightful display of urination and in subsequent episodes there are bare breasts, threesomes and torrid sex parties.

I am ecstatic for the start of season 2. Season 1 was superb and it can only get better! Billie Piper has shined in this role, she's an excellent actress.
