The new 'Skins' gang in action

"Your back's against the wall, there's no-one home to call, you're forgetting who you are, you can't stop crying... thump thump thump..."
Of course we all remember that trailer introducing us to the bunch of hedonistic Skins teens a couple years back. But now with a new gang - revealed here last week - about to land, what has the Channel 4 marketing team come up with this time?
Plenty of violence - that's what. Click 'play' below to see:

Am I the only person who reads digital spy that thinks this series looks all too predictable? There was something new and believable when we first met the characters of Series 1. A fresh feel. I really hope I'm wrong, but Series 3 just reeks of trying too hard to be edgy. In the DS Interview with Jamie he talks about the directing, quality of acting etc. which is fine - but I don't think it's why people fell in love with the show. The trailer for Series 1 was a crazy house party. Everyone can relate! Now call me old fashioned but very rarely do I pop out to the local for a fight with pool cues, some random explosions, sex in the toilets, drug taking, a trashing of the place and a police visit. I'll say it again, I REALLY hope I'm wrong. But so far, Series 3 really risks being "too cool".

There doesn't seem anything "memorable" about the new crowd. Even Effie didn't stand out if you didn't recognise her from before. A bunch of nobodies. They gonna rely on the sex and violence to carry it through???

The problem Ive always had with Skins is that at 25, I feel a little bit too old to be watching it. I'd have loved something similar when I was a teenager, we had As If which was pretty awesome but it being on a Sunday morning they couldnt really do anything that risque

well they only had 3 bottles of reef and a couple shandys between them, oh lets not forget those paracetemols, they must have had a bad headache. as that advert says "You wouldn't start a night like this" haha Not guna lie but if some students came into my pub and started going off like that someone would have just locked the doors and fill'd them all in, i think the advert would have been better if that happened.
