“ Tube Talk ”
Would you believe it? The Q&A returns!

When this column launched almost four years ago (birthday time in June) its original remit was fairly straightforward - you'd ask TV questions, and we'd answer them.
But mirroring the gradual degeneration of all public service broadcasters, Tube Talk evolved into much more than that - it became about spoilers, about exclusive interviews, about videos. And somewhere down the line (August 4, 2008, to be precise) the Q&A stopped entirely.
Now it's time to right that wrong. It's the dawn of a new age of Q&A. Regular Q&A. You'll get it more frequently from now on, but the number of Qs we A will vary - sometimes you might only find two Qs Aed, for example (however in this update there are a respectable seven Qs Aed).
By the way, if you want to pose a Q for me to A, click my face at the top of the page and knock yourself out. Are you bored of this Q/A thing yet? Good - let's just crack on....

Can you let me know when is Chuck coming back on? I'm missing it!
Marie

Neil: The new season of Chuck airs on V1 from the beginning of June, I'm told. By the way, a third season has not yet been confirmed and the show is very much on the bubble. Get signing those internet petitions now!

When does the series 4 of Prison Break start in UK?
Sue Garcia

Neil: Oh dear, does someone want to break the bad news to Sue?

Hello,
For the Q&A column's return, Sky and their evilness have answered the House question I wanted to ask.
I would like to know when we should expect One Tree Hill back on E4 and Grey's Anatomy of Five.
Pretty please?
Ta very muchly
Faye

Neil: One Tree Hill is back on E4 at the start of July, while the future of Grey's at Five is still undecided.
As for House, surely the show moving to Sky1 is a good thing? What are the chances we may get season six even earlier next year as a result? By the way, if you fancy whetting your appetite for the new run, clicky here.

why did you kill cutter off?
amy robinson

Neil: BECAUSE HE WANTED MY ARTEFACT, INNIT?

Not really a question, but can you please put Fringe in the USTV show status table please.
I know it'll be orange for now, but I don't want to miss an update when it comes. Thanks!
Emma

Neil: Your wish is my command! Click here for the USTV Tracker. By the way, I'd say Fringe has a very good chance of coming back next season. Dollhouse, on the other hand...

Everwood? Nah, TORCHWOOD. Bluntly put - when's it coming back? It's been AGES since the trailer came out promising it this spring!
Seaneeboy

Neil: Torchwood is looking like the middle of June (the original plan, as I understood it, was March - but this was put back for reasons unknown). Expect more news very soon as the first (non-crew) screening is happening next week!

When is Reaper back on E4? It's been tooooo long!
Robin

Neil: Well, if you insist - the second, and quite probably final, season of Reaper kicks off on E4 in July.
That's all for now. More Qs will be Aed soon!
Moving House to Sky 1 is not a good thing because now I have to wait for the DVD before I can watch it. Not everyone has Sky you know!
About bl**dy time you were back!!!! Woot indeed - keep it coming :0)
As for House going to Sky. I got the impression that Channel 5 were rather glad to get rid of it as it was not the ratings smash for them like the CSI fanchise. They certainly did not put up much of a fight
When are Demons and Being Human going to return??
I've heard BBC One have struggled to find 5 nights in a row to show it [torchwood] on, sad that it's been bumped and bumped and bumped :(
Totally agree with you kelly. Ch5 haven't got a clue how to promote as good a show as House. Surely sticking it on Sky will reduce viewing figures. Not good.
I'm loving Terminater: Sarah Conner Chronicals and Dollhouse but fear for the future of these shows. Some one should tell the Americans to stop cancelling the shows I watch with 24 and Smallville I assume, drawing to a close soonish they'll be nothing left.
House going to sky is NOT! a good thing! I don't have sky so so far I've missed out on Lost! Prison Break and now House. BUT I will not bow down to this corporate bully and subscribe to them. I'll but it on dvd at least that way I won't have to sit through tedious ad breaks and a bloody mid season break!
Whooooo! Woot! Woot! Q & A is back, for good.. I have really missed this column, Neil... you are so wise... bring it on...
Prison Break answer incorrect and as someone pointed out, House moving to Sky is not a good thing. Not everyone has Sky for a start. I'll be waiting for the DVD... which means i'll be waiting even longer.
Nice to see Q&A return Neil! :D
It's been so long I expected most the questions to be about the switch to colour TV! This was very much Q&A lite though - I think we're more hardcore than that!
I used to love Q&A and after a promise it was coming back last summer, it had a brilliant six or seven week run, to then die in Aug08. I hope that this time it is more regular... for longer! Oops - I've got a question! I've just enjoyed watching Spooks, Series 1 and 2 on Watch... who holds the rights to Spooks series 3 and 4 please and any idea when it might be shown? (Now now, no questions here please... CLICK MY FACE YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO -Neil)
Could you please change Knight Rider back to orange on the USTV Show Status 'cause it hasn't officially been cancelled, the final decision is to be announced in May!
This Q&A is pitiful, and inaccurate; what's more, I could probably do better. As could the rest of the interweb. Fail.
"As for House, surely the show moving to Sky1 is a good thing?" How can moving to a subscription channel, controlled by the Satanic Murdochs, that steals shows from other channels and then loses most of the audience be a good thing?
YAY For Q&A! Glad to see it back!

great to have it back
