Behind the scenes of 'Day One'
Published Thursday, Jun 25 2009, 11:39 BST | By Dan French | 1 comment
As regular readers may have gathered over the last few months, Tube Talk is quite excited about the upcoming 2009-10 TV season. With shows ranging from FlashForward and Human Target, to Melrose Place 2.0 and The Beautiful Life, we've plenty to be looking forward to later this year.
You can add to that list NBC's Day One - a new apocalyptic "event drama" from Heroes producer Jesse Alexander. Details are fairly thin on the ground, however this explosive preview should be a good indication of what we can expect:

This behind the scenes footage actually came out about two or three months ago on DAY ONE's official website on NBC. There is some additional footage also with some of the actors and Jesse Alexander (showrunner) being interviewed. It's pretty interesting even though not much is revealed. Man, why can't NBC just put it on now? I mean all the top shows like LOST and The Mentalist are on hiatus - what better time to get in there and get some attention while those shows get ready to film their new season and lay on the backburner. No good TV shows are coming on at the moment - I always need something to watch to get me through studying and exams. Summer TV: borefest - no wonder everybody stays out.
