Pictures: 'Gavin & Stacey' filming final scenes

Oh! What's occurring?
The final series of Gavin & Stacey, that's what! Filming on the third - and last - series of the cult comedy is now underway in Wales for transmission later this year on BBC One.
In the Christmas Special, Gavin and Stacey announced their plans to move back to Barry - and in the new run they've successfully made the switch. Stacey has a new job working at an ice cream parlour, which is a convenient excuse for the Wests and the Shipmans to come together for a beach break!
Meanwhile, Smithy is still brooding over Nessa's engagement to Dave Coaches. And as our on-set pictures below show, Russell Tovey (Budgie) is also back for a guest spot.

I am sooooo excited I can't wait for the last series, I think it will be brill, going to miss watching it when its done though, also hope there are some good tunes, the music has been great so far

I wish Gavin and Stacy cast would produce more episoades because i would love to meet them and have a picture and autograph with them. I love Gavin and Stacy.

cant wait for this series but gutted that it will be the last one, really is just the best sitcome since only fools. so nice to see some intelligent comedy and characterisation in the current trend of monotonous puns, innuendos and funny accents that counts as funny
